The article substantiates an opportunity and feasibility of autonomous wasteless power-engineering-mineral mining-metallurgical complexes for the enhancement of their geoenvironmental safety and economic efficiency. Such complexes are based on the latest findings and developments in power engineering, mining and metallurgy and intended for mineral deposit development in remote regions and for the reconstruction of operating facilities.
