Today, a global trend is observed towards the increase of coal bed mining depth in underground operations. With the growing depth the coalbed methane content increases accordingly that has a negative effect on safety in underground operations. This problem can be successfully solved by way of comprehensive (preliminary, made in advance) gas drainage of coal beds that is proved by the practice of leading coal producing countries worldwide.
