Conceptual grounds for the formation of flexible geoengineering systems of mines and power facilities

The article deals with the aspects of the application of the system approach to comprehensive diversification of mining. The author made use of the method of decomposition of the existing engineering systems; selected the structural elements of engineering system adaptable to the conditions of mines of a new technological level; scientifically grounded the new structural elements based on the application of high technologies and advanced equipment; synthesized engineering systems of coal mines of a new technological level and optimized mine parameters ensuring the competitiveness of their products at the international market. The author describes the identified objectives and proposes some realistic ways for the implementation of projects within the framework of large structural agglomerations of coal mines and coal preparation plants.
