Assessment of physiological and sanitary aspects of microclimate at workplaces in underground and opencast mines, and preventive measures against its adverse effect

The article describes factors determining the microclimate of workplaces, their importance, and conditions of underground and opencast mine personnel health exposure to these factors. The exposure of human body functional system to the effect of cooling and heating microclimate is discussed. The rating of microclimate in mines and mine machinery cabins is provided. The authors propose a system of measures aimed at normalization of microclimatic conditions of miners’ workplaces.
