International TERRUM Group Offers NEW Hydraulic and Drilling Hoses BOTH for the Russian FAR NORTH and the Central Asian Deserts

In 2008, international TERRUM Group of companies, headquartered in Moscow & Dushanbe cities (further TERRUM Group:, has re-confirmed its Eurasian leadership status in the integrated whole-sales & distribution of high- and extra-high pressure hoses & fittings as well as other hydraulic components for harsh climate conditions: following the ultimate success of the new unique VULKANand ICEBERG™/1-2SN; /4SP-SH DN6-51 extended hose lines for hydraulic and rotary drilling applications in extreme climate conditions, including both the Far North and Central Asian deserts, developed and fully-tested upon TERRUM Group’s top management requests, jointly by the Technical Centres of its new strategic partners – LWM/Teknohose/Vitillo® Group (Italy/Germany) and BELAZ Autoworks (Belarus’), as well as the independent experts of “CERISIE” certification and research & development laboratories (Italy), TERRUM Group has started supplies of the new HM380 swaging machine model (swaging force: 340 t.!) for assembling of the compete range of ICEBERG™/4SH and other multispiral superhoses, from DN6 up to DN51-76, with optimum balance of price and quality, upgraded recently by its traditional partner UNIFLEX®, Gemany).

It is particulraly important to emphasize that both hose lines were initially designed for hydraulic systems of BELAZ & MoAZ dumpers, loaders and other machinery (WP from 22 up to 35 MPa!), operating with under extreme climate conditions: ICEBERG - from -55 C up to +100 C;  VULKAN -  from -40 C up to +135 C, correspondingly. Nevertheless, to meet the new important requirements of the Eurasian ens-users, they were tested for rotary drilling applications, and after several improvements (improved W.P.; increased abrasion-resistance of the cover), the new modifications of these hoses were officially approved as rotary drilling hoses by OAO „UZBEKNEFTEGAZ” and other Eurasian oli&gas majors.

Within just half a year after the succesful phase-in of these new hose lines, TERRUM Group managed to achieve dominant positions in the hydraulic & drilling hoses’ market segments in Eurasia, due to tight cooperation with SpecAGRO Group, Minsk (BY), EUROHYDRAULIC, Moscow (RU); ASIA Marketing JV, Tashkent (UZ); PAMIRTECHSERVCIE Ltd., Dushanbe (TAJ) and other leading Eurasian importers and assemblers. Due to high professionalism and total quality commitment of ASIA Marketing JV (UZ) and PAMIRTECHSERVICE Ltd. (TAJ) management teams, they became the leading Regional Distributors of LWM/Teknohose/ Vittillo® Group  in Central Asia, and mantained reliable supplies to NGMK/NAVOI GOLD MINES; UZBEKNEFTEGAZ; TAMROCK-TAJIKISTAN, NUREK power station, ROGUN and SANGTUDA power stations - under construction, and other Eurasian market leaders.

Both ICEBERG™ and VULKAN™ hose lines also successfully went through the complete cycle of the field tests for abrasion and extreme T resistance (outside T from below -55 ◦C up to +70◦C!) on BELAZ & MoAZ dumpers (Mirnyj and Udachyj open-pit mines, Yakutia - please, see photo No. 1), O&K excavators and other mining machinery (in Muruntau and Uch Kuduk open pits Kyzylkum desert, Uzbekistan – please, see photo No. 2). Starting 2008, they are supplied for the conveyers of such advanced domestic OEMs as AMKODOR Loaders, BELAZ Autoworks and MoAZ Trucks (Belarus’), RUSSO-BALT TIAZHEKS Excavators and YAROVIT Motors (Russia), that supply their machinery to the oil&gas and other market leaders.

In 2008, TERRUM Group has already more than quadrupled its supplies to the Eurasian markets, so at present it is possible to acquire the complete range of these and other „Teknohose®” lines, as well as „Vitillo®” fittings & adapters from its partners’ regional warehouses throughout the Eurasian continent: in Almaty, Baku, Dushanbe, Minsk, Brest, Moscow; Navoi, Tashkent and Ust-Kamenogorsk.

The marketing strategy of TERRUM Group entails active expansion of hose assembly shops throughout the territory of Eurasia, including integrated training of young hydraulic engineers and upgrading the general machine-building and business culture in the region. To meet the booming demand throught the vast markets of Eurasia, further extension of TERRUM Group distribution network to Turkmenistan, Iran, Mongolia and other promising countries of the Central & Southern Asian region is planned for 2009/2010.
