Na2CO3, NaCl and AlCl3×6H2O-based surface active agents provide severalfold reduction of the strength of frozen rocks of the Kangalasskoye deposit. This allows blast-free coal deposit development with the use of advanced mining machinery and equipment. The author adheres to the opinion that VASM, WSM and CSM machines of the new generation are most promising for such conditions.
