The authors have developed, made and tested a device for sampling of explosives in charged boreholes. This device is designed for sampling of explosives at any point of a borehole for further analysis of components concentration in an explosive charge. Homogeneity of an explosive composition has been estimated. Methodology of emulsion explosive density estimation is provided as a case study of Granemite I-30.
