New method and equipment for material grinding

The article presents the analysis of advantages and shortcomings of commercial methods of size degradation of various materials. Detailed description is provided of dynamic autogenous grinding method, which has been implemented in the novel design of some mills. The authors offer a patented mill design and provide the process description and flowsheet. Characteristics of a mill model intended for comprehensive research of the dynamic autogenous grinding process and development of a commercial-scale mill are presented.
