Summary: The current stage of industrial development of many ore deposits is characterized by deteriorating hydrogeological and mining conditions. This makes the search for and development of engineering solutions to ensure uninterrupted operation of dewatering plants at low operating costs one of the most actual areas of applied research. Thus, justification and provision of rational operating modes for mine dewatering plants used for pumping water flows with particularly harsh physical and chemical properties, based on mutual impact of their technical and economic aspects of operation, constitutes a relevant scientific and practical problem, which solution will ensure sustainable development of the domestic mining industry in the medium term. The object of the study was multistage sectional pumps used for pumping highly abrasive and aggressive brines during the impact of the adjustable parameters of the mine dewatering plant on its reliability and cost-effectiveness of its operation. The results of the performed comprehensive assessment were used to justify the rational operating modes for mine dewatering plants utilized for pumping highly abrasive and aggressive brines. The paper describes in detail the developed engineering solutions aimed at ensuring efficient operation of the mine dewatering plants used for pumping water inflows with particularly harsh physical and chemical properties.
Keywords: dewatering plant, multistage sectional pumps, underground brines, solids concentration, inflow of water, water clarification, dehydration of sediment accumulations, powered purification complex
