Summary: This article examines prospective development of a mining resource region – the Republic of Tyva. It defines inclusive development as ensuring a socially equitable distribution of resources to improve social welfare, ensure a high standard of respecting the interests of the future generations. The key areas are defined for the inclusive development policy in the Republic of Tyva. It is proposed to develop a regional inclusive economic development program that would incorporate reindustrialization which brings together sectors and fields based on achievements of modern science and generation of new knowledge, and for which the region possesses the development potential, will begin to play a significant role in the industrial and manufacturing sector of the Republic of Tyva by 2035. Implementing the Republic of Tyva’s inclusive development program will help to provide an adequate response to the technological and economic challenges of modern development, while prioritizing harmonization of social and economic processes, narrowing the gap with the Russian standards, and addressing environmental issues.
