Russian Energy Week International Forum (REW) – key international event to address the most pressing issues in the energy sector.
The Forum has been held since 2017 and has immediately become the most important energy efficiency event in Russia or abroad.
REW will convene representatives of the Russian federal authorities, headsof major energy companies, industry organizations, and media community.
The Forum is being held to demonstrate the prospects of the Russian fuel and energy industry and unlock the potential of international cooperation in energy. The Forum will serve as a platform for a discussion of the main challenges faced by the energy sector and topical problems involving the development of:
the gas industry;
the oil industry;
the coal industry;
petrochemistry;
electricity;
nuclear power;
hydropower;
renewable source of power (RESOP);
energy conservation and increased energy efficiency.
“Russian Energy Week always features specialized, industry-specific, targeted discussions with experts from all over the world. There are no conversations about general topics. Everything is very clear and to the point. This focus lets you get the most out of face-to-face interaction with like-minded people who don’t need to waste time trying to find a common language. It’s clear from the REW participants that they miss such in-person interaction. The Forum once again brought together everyone who is interested in the joint development of energy and people who want to work together for the future. It’s great that foreign countries were widely represented this year. I am confident that this platform will have a direct impact on international relations as a whole and on the energy sector in particular for many years to come,” Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak said in comments following the Forum.
