As part of its effort to develop service programs for key customers, LUKOIL has launched the operation of a mobile lab facility, which monitors performance of lubricants in the mining companies’ machinery.
The mobile lab was delivered Kuzbassrazrezugol mining company and is currently being used in servicing machinery at the client’s coal strip mines. The use of the mobile research laboratory will help Kuzbassrazrezugol perform on-the-spot monitoring of various machinery systems. The Company together with the client plans to evaluate the effect of the new service, and then replicate it at other mining and industrial companies.
“The mining companies’ equipment operates under extreme loads, at increased dust levels, and is exposed to enormous temperature differences. Under such conditions, the role of proper diagnostics of the equipment’s health and its timely maintenance increases multiple times. The mobile lab and LUKOIL’s technical support group will work to ensure uninterrupted operation of machinery. Equally important is the fact that obtained information will facilitate a more accurate and efficient planning of the machinery’s maintenance and use,” stressed LUKOIL Lubricants Company General Director Kirill Vereta.
