It has to provide increased productivity with the same footprint while ensuring consistent product size. This approach also imposes special requirements towards organization and management of equipment operation and maintenance. Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) management system needs to ensure an optimal balance of time, labor and cost of MRO, providing reliable operation of the crushing equipment with a specified throughput rate. The paper reviews the results of introducing the Uralmashzavod design solutions as part of cooperation with the Stoilensky Mining and Beneficiation Plant and Karelsky Okatysh Mining Joint Stock Companies that involved the use of higher capacity crushers. The paper also presents a number of scientific and methodical approaches developed by the Institute of Mining of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences within the framework of preparation of regulations for the MRO system for primary cone crushers, secondary cone crushers, tertiary cone crushers, jaw crushers of Uralmashplant JSC.

Keywords: cone crushers, jaw crushers, maintenance and servicing schedule, throughput capacity, crushing equipment
