Abstract: Crushing and screening complexes are multi-machine technological systems which reliability is defined by the combined performance of crushers, screens, feeders, conveyor lines, transfer units, and auxiliary drives. These conditions require lubrication system to be regarded as an independent subsystem that supports reliability of the whole complex rather than a set of separate service devices for individual machines. The relevance of the study is explained by the need to improve lubrication systems of crushing and screening complexes under conditions of equipment development, digitalization, and increasing technological complexity. The purpose of the work is to develop a classification-based approach to selecting and improving lubrication systems for crushing and screening complexes that would take into account their degree of stationarity, equipment composition, and severity of operating conditions. The methodological framework of the study includes the comparative, classification, and engineering-analytical approaches. The results made it possible to develop an organized classification of crushing and screening complexes based on their lubrication conditions, to identify priority of the units lubrication, and to propose recommendations for choosing a rational lubrication system architecture for different classes of the complexes. The scientific novelty lies in the development of a classification-based approach to designing lubrication systems for crushing and screening complexes as an element of the overall reliability architecture. The practical significance consists in the possibility to directly apply the proposed solutions in the design and modernization of various types of complexes
